About this piece
A Branching Hammer Coral (Euphyllia ancora or Euphyllia paraancora) is a popular large-polyp stony (LPS) coral known for its unique, hammer- or anchor-shaped tentacle tips. It can extend long sweeper tentacles at night to sting and damage nearby corals. It is crucial to provide ample space between it and other coral species.
